Greg has spent the last twenty-six years in the Coachella Valley of California, most notably building high-end custom homes either as a journeyman carpenter, a framing contractor, project superintendant, project manager, or general contractor. He is licensed by the State of California as a General Building Contractor, License number 592410, and has been since April 20, 1990.

He has supervised the constuction of custom homes designed by some of the premier architects of this country, and by doing so, has elevated his knowledge of design and current building practices. Ultimately, he has the desire to become involved in "Green" or sustainable building practices.
Greg gained his first construction experience in a building construction class at Urbandale High School in Urbandale, Iowa in 1973. After surveying landscape architecture at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota for a short time, he was hired as the Contruction Supervisor for the City of Urbandale, Parks and Recreation Department, and held that position from 1977 to 1981.
After leaving Iowa, Greg lived and worked in Colorado from 1981 to 1985, building log homes near Breckenridge, or custom homes in Frisco and Dillon, or carving wood signs, and building custom homes in Evergreen, Colorado.
